Who we are
Jack and Emil met in kindergarten at Cold Spring School and became fast friends. Both started music lessons at a young age — Emil thrived at the piano and developed a deep love for music. Jack, on the other hand, was a piano dropout who found his passion in building things and learning how the world works. From a young age, Jack was hooked on YouTube videos about engineering, black holes, and the science behind everyday phenomena.
As they got older, one thing became clear: behind every fascinating topic — from the structure of music to the forces of physics — was math. It wasn’t just a subject in school; it was the key to understanding the universe.
But not every kid sees it that way.
After hearing younger kids (including some family members) complain that math is boring or pointless, Jack and Emil had an idea: What if we could show kids that math is exciting, practical, and even fun? What if we brought math to life — through music, sports, games, money, and more?
That idea became the foundation of this nonprofit. Our mission is simple: help kids discover the magic of math by doing. Through themed, hands-on classes at a local elementary school, we aim to spark curiosity and build confidence in students who might not otherwise get that chance.
Our Junior Board
To help ensure the continuity and growth of our programs, our Junior Board is composed of passionate high school math enthusiasts from grades 9 through 11. These dedicated students bring energy, insight, and a shared love of mathematics to support our mission and initiatives.
